Delta State chapter of the National Association of Nigeria Nurses and Midwives (NANNM) has congratulated Chief Sheriff Oborevwori on his inauguration as the brand new governor of Delta state.

In a congratulatory message made available to journalists in Asaba, Delta state capital, chairman of the association, Chief Alice Jegede-Ikpen, said Governor Oborevwori ‘s emergence as governor of the Delta state would usher in a new vista of development for the state.

Delta CSO forum congratulates Oborevwori on his inauguration as governor of Delta state

Delta State chapter of the National Association of Nigeria Nurses and Midwives (NANNM) has congratulated Chief Sheriff Oborevwori on his inauguration as the brand new governor of Delta state.

In a congratulatory message made available to journalists in Asaba, Delta state capital, chairman of the association, Chief Alice Jegede-Ikpen, said Governor Oborevwori ‘s emergence as governor of the Delta state would usher in a new vista of development for the state.

She said drawing from his wealth of experience as the longest serving Speaker since the creation of Delta, Oborevwori would build a better a new Delta, continuing from where the former governor, Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa, ended his developmental strides in the state.

The association commended the resilience of the governor, considering the battles he fought beginning from campaigns for the primary election through to the general elections where he emerged victorious.

According to the body, Oborevwori has one of the best programmes for the continued development of the state. She believes that the MORE agenda of the governor is an all encompassing and geared towards reaching every Deltan irrespective of political affiliation, ethnic conflagration and area of residence.

Chief Jegede Ikpen called on all Deltans to key into the programmes of the governor as Chief Oborevwori is inclined to building a better Delta for all and ready to run all inclusive government.

She called on the governor to carry everybody along in his administration, noting that as one Delta he should initiate programmes that will unite all ethnic groups across the 25 local government areas of the state.

Mrs. Jegede-Ikpen who served in Delta state inauguration praise night committee , thanked both the outgone Governor Ifeanyi Okowa and Governor Oborevwori for finding her worthy to serve the state in that capacity.

While wishing former Governor Okowa well in his future pursuits and family life, she prayed God to give Governor Oborevwori all the needed wisdom to succeed as he pilots the affairs of Delta state.
