Kogi Guber 2023: Prince. Audu’s position, not a yardstick for Kogi Easterners to become enemies.

The resulted political mudsliging of Kogi 2023 Gubernatorial election on the Minister of Steel Development Prince Shuaibu Abubakar Audu, who many assumed to have placed the supremacy of his party above any other political interests by the political elites from Kogi east is degenerating into political enemity among brothers.
Though, losing an election with absolute majority and with a candidate who invested his time, energy, hopes dreams and financial resources in winning the office is traumatic and hard to take.
Such Manipulated defeat at the ballot box after unforseen turn of event can be bitter, embarrassing, disappointing and crazy. This prompted the feeling that the vision and the future of the people has been temporarily and cruelly cut short, leaving them politically bereaved and hydra-headed for a moment.
To handle this political grief, we must remember that to be involved in politics is to have some victories and some setbacks as well. A given election is not the end of a story—it’s a chapter. So, instead of name-calling, playing a blame game and casting a malicious slurs on the reputation of our young minister for a political defeat, it would be better we up our game to find a result-oriented political solution bedeviling our race.
Blame game is a psychological self serving bias, we attribute positive events and successes to our own character or actions, but blame negative results to external factors unrelated to our character. Blaming others for our uphill battles, defeat and set back in life is a dangerous recourse against growth and advancement.
The minister’s effort in kogi east may not have delivered the necessary result in the zone going by the testimonies of BIVAS demonstration from the electoral tribunal. Hence, blaming him for our defeat in the election instead of INEC who announced a cooked results is an expression of bitterness on a wrong person. The minister is not our problem , it is high time we support him to succeed and take advantage of his office.
Going forward,
we must acknowledge that the brotherhood, peace and bond that long existed among us shouldn’t be sacrificed on the altar of politics. we are one big family and one sure way to appreciate that is to love your fellow brother irrespective of socio-political orientation, weakness and individual differences.
We must play down on the issues, utterances, action and attitudes that could only bring further disunity, hatred and strife among us
Categorically, we must recognized that our land is uniquely blessed with human and natural resources, peaceful and hardworking people with a potentiality of economic self sufficiency.
This God given talents and the natural resources that abound all around our land is enough reason for us to hold on to the hope that our tomorrow and that of our children are definitely great.
