Pandemonium broke out at Ajodo, in AJaokuta local government areas of Kogi State recently when a lady in her late twenties stabbed a nursing mother to death.
The lady whose name is Khadija Abdullahi stabbed Habitat, a nursing mother to death over an unknown man who was confirmed by the members of the community to be dating the two ladies at the same.
According to an eye witness who spoke with our correspondence, Khadija on finding out about her man’s unfaithfulness decided to confront late Habiba but in the process things went out of hand when the deceased refused to back out.
Enraged by Habibas behavior, Khadija stabbed her severally on her body and stomach which leads to the later collapsing and bled to death before help could get to her.
Another eye witness said the deceased Habiba was just stabbed to death in a defenseless attack because of a man.
Eganyi town was thrown into mourning as many residents are sad over the death of Habiba whom most claim was a calm and easy going lady who has problem with anybody in the community.
Khadija who was almost leached by the residents hads since been arrested by Ajaokuta police division for further investigation.
An attempt to reach the police public Relations office on the case proves abortive as his line was not going as at the time of this report.
