However, Pastor (Mrs.) Folu Adeboye, the Mother-in-Israel of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, is urging women not to let their age or circumstances hinder their service to God.

During the 2025 Women in Ministry Conference at Redemption City in Lagos, Pastor Adeboye encouraged women to hold onto God and serve Him with unwavering devotion, even in their old age.

She emphasised that God’s promises will undoubtedly come to pass if we obey and serve Him in truth and spirit.

“A life centered on God becomes richer and more bearable,” Pastor Adeboye said. “When we live an exemplary life, we can have a positive impact on our generation.”

She acknowledged that aging is often associated with negative experiences, such as regrets, disappointment, bitterness, and loss. However, she encouraged women to draw closer to God, who will never leave or forsake them.

Pastor Adeboye reiterated the importance of persistent prayer for children, husbands, and loved ones, citing the biblical command to pray without ceasing. She prayed for divine grace to enable women to continue serving God throughout their lives.

The conference was a resounding success, featuring choir ministrations, interactive sessions, presentations on various topics, and a question-and-answer segment.
