*The Chief of Staff to the Governor of Kogi State, Pharmacist Abdulkarim Jamiu Asuku’s official residence in Lokoja and* Abuja have been gutted by fire 🔥🔥🔥🔥 and one of his cars stolen from Government House.
As at the time of writing this report ,one of the drivers who drove the car before the incident is at the “A” Division of the Nigeria Police Lokoja for investigation while the cause of the fire incident is yet to be determined .
Details shortly as we are monitoring Kogi state post election debacle as the tenure of the elected executive chairmen of Kogi state came to an end on 12th December 2023, report has it that some chairmen were directed to return their bullet proof cars and other funds allegedly meant to hire mercenaries for the election ,but the mission was not successful as a result of military presence in Kogi East and other parts of the state.
Governor Yahaya Bello has vowed to deal with any one that contributed to the party present predicament despite the declaration of Alh. Ahmed Usman Ododo of the All Progressives Congress ( APC) by the Independent National Electoral Commission(INEC) as the winner of the Governorship election in the state.
