Emenaga Ukpale community mourns the loss of Chief James Aduku, a revered leader and devoted servant of God, who left an indelible mark on the lives of those he touched.

Born on March 15, 1940, in Emenega Ukpale, Ogugu, Kogi State, Chief Aduku was known for his honesty, dignity, and humility.

Chief Aduku’s life was characterised by sacrifice and dedication to others.

As the head and eldest of Emohami Eno Family, he was appointed “Gago” and most eldest in Emenega Ukpale. His marriage to Mrs. Sarah Oguche in 1970 was blessed with seven children.

During the burial ceremony, Senior Pastor Moses Abuja of United Evangelical Church (UEC), Emenega, called on Christians to emulate Chief Aduku’s exemplary life, citing his fear of God and commitment to serving others.

The pastor emphasized the importance of living a Godly life, reminding the congregation that God is always watching.

Benjamin Adejoh, speaking on behalf of the family, thanked those who attended the burial ceremony, praying for the repose of Chief Aduku’s soul and the safe journey of visitors.

Mrs. Gloria Patrick, a daughter of the deceased, described her father’s legacy as unforgettable, saying his footsteps are etched in the soil of Emenega Ukpale. His love and faith will live on through generations.
