The Chief Medical Director Kogi State Specialist Hospital ,prof Isah, Yahaya Adagiri has congratulated His Excellency, Alhaji Yahaya Bello, the Executive Governor of Kogi State on his conferment with the prestigious Nigeria National Honours Award of Commander of the Order of the Niger, CON.
Prof Adagiri disclosed this to newsmen in lokoja recently.
He said the prestigious award came in recognition of the governor’s commendable service to our beloved state.
According to him, the award stands for good performance in governance as it also attest to his pragmatic and unique leadership style.
In his words ” The award stands alone for His Excellency’s hard work and dedication.He added.
He further stated that the award couldn’t have come at a better time as it has encouraged and rekindled the faith of kogians in the Ruling party.
Prof Adagiri said the award has paved way to a bright and accomplished future for the state.
He stated that the honour is a confirmation of his painstakingly yet deliberate efforts that have repositioned Kogi State to be one of the best states among comity of states in the country, stressing that his recognition has shut the mouths of his critics.
He said Governor Yahaya Bello’s performance in the last seven and half years is monumental hence the national award is a testimony of his hard work and contributions to the overall development of not only Kogi state but the nation at large and humanity.
He commended the President Muhammadu Buhari led administration for recognizing those who have worked tirelessly for the good of the land, stressing that Governor Yahaya Bello has proven to be a genuine leader that wants the best for his people especially in security and other critical sectors of the state economy.
