Dangote donates boreholes for 17 Kogi communities

In keeping with the mandate of it’s Corporate Social Responsibility and determination to touch lives of grassroots dwellers, Dangote Cement Company Plc has constructed no fewer than 17 boreholes for host communities in Kogi State.
Speaking at a 2-day workshop organized for journalists in North Central zone of the country,the GM, Community Affairs, Mr. Ademola Adeyemi, said the water projects were implemented to address water scarcity in the various communities.
Mr Adeyemi said part of it Corporate Social Responsibility was to provide portable water noting that recently it also built clinic at Iwaa and Oyo Community under the Community Development Agreement with Mining Communities as stipulated by the Nigerian Mining Act.
