“The family of Chief Wada Itodo is mourning the passing of their beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and leader, Hon. Rebecca Itodo, who passed away in Abuja.
A dedicated public servant, Mrs. Itodo served as a councillor in Ogbonicha ward, Ofu local government area, and was also the president of the Emodu Women and Wives Association, Lokoja branch.
Miss Grace Oguche, Secretary General of the association, described Mrs. Itodo as a pillar of strength and a shining example of dedication to her family and alma mater.
“We are deeply saddened by this irreparable loss and share in the family’s grief during this difficult time,” she said.
“Her numerous donations, alongside those of her husband, have had a lasting impact on our institution.
During her tenure in public office, she demonstrated her commitment to community development by constructing feeder roads and improving countless lives.”
Miss Oguche continued, “Hon. Rebecca’s legacy is a testament to her tireless efforts to make a positive difference in the world.
May the fond memories of her love, kindness, and generosity bring comfort and solace to the family.
