Governor Yahaya Bello’s Broken Promises: The Tale of Deception and Disappointment.

0

On this day, the 26th of October, the people of Kogi State commemorate a broken promise; a pledge that was made to them four years ago by their Governor, Yahaya Bello. On that day, he flagrantly flagged off the Idah-Agenebode bridge, promising them progress and development.

Four years on, however, it seems that this was nothing but a myth, a hoax; a lie concocted by the Governor in a sordid attempt to secure reelection.

Governor Bello is a man who has become synonymous with failure; a man who has failed dismally in every sphere of governance.

His tenure has been marred by corruption, nepotism, and incompetence, as the people of Kogi State continue to suffer under his leadership.

Four years ago, he needed their votes, he needed them to believe in his grand promises, and he succeeded in deceiving them.

As the governor plans to install his cousin for his third term agenda, the people of Kogi State have wised up to his tactics.

They refuse to be hoodwinked twice, and they vow to remind him of his lies on the forthcoming November 11 election.

Governor Bello may attempt to deceive them again with his lies and deceit, but this time, the people shall vehemently vote him and his cronies out of office.

It is high time to end the era of bad governance in Kogi State.

The people have suffered enough under the inept leadership of Yahaya Bello and have longed for a true leader, a leader who will deliver on his promises, a leader who will prioritize their welfare and that of the state.

The upcoming election represents an opportunity for the people of Kogi State to initiate a change, to embrace a new era of hope, progress, and development. The people of Kogi State deserve better, and they shall fight relentlessly to ensure that their voices are heard, and their aspirations are realized.
