Graceful Ladies International Celebrates End of Year Party
Women Organisation in kogi state have been advised to contribute positively to the growth and development of the society.
The permanent Secretary kogi State Ministry of Information,Mr Teddy Adegbola gave the advised at the end of year get together Organised by Graceful Lady International in lokoja.
The permanent Secretary explained that as women and mothers, they have a very critical role to play in the society hence the need for them to give back to the society through love and care.
The Chairman of the occasion,Elder Percy Abah appreciate graceful ladies for their efforts in assisting women and youth in the society.
He prayed God to sustained the Association and advised them not to deter on their mandate to help and provide for the less privilege in the society
Speaking at the occasion,the Director General Kogi State Broadcasting Corporation,Alhaji Ojoh Oyila Ozovehe Commend the initiative of Graceful ladies International for their efforts at impacting positively on the life of youth and women in the society.
He advised them to be positive and continue to assist the needly for a better society.
Earlier the president of the Association,Princess Grace Oguche explained that the aim of the Association was to cater for Women and Children through various programs and initiative.
She explained that graceful ladies help the women broaden their horizon so as to become self- reliants and useful to the society and their immediate family.
Princess Oguche stated that the Association also enhance it’s knowledge into the uniqueness of women as goal getters ,provide trainings and small loan to members in order to help carryout work in reaching out to the less privilege with ease in the Society.
She explained that the Association’s next plan was to adopt the welfare of students who are finding it difficult to pay their tuition fees.
Meritorious awards was presented to sons and daughters of kogi state who distinguish themselves in their various fields and contribute to the growth and development of the State.
