The National President of Igala Cultural and Development Association*( I C D A) under the leadership of Alh. Ahmodu Abubakar Sadiq has set up 23 members peace and advocacy committee to end political violence and thugry in Kogi East.
Members are as follows : Hon. Collins Onogu Monday , Chiarman ,Hon Friday Bala member, Hon. Ademu Sofre, Hon. Yunusa A Yunusa , Hon. Idris paul, Yusuf Ademu ,Hon.Solomon Agada ,Miss Jane Nchola ,Alh. Yaba Abubakar ,Comrade Reuben Idachaba ,Hon Hassan Momoh Sani ,Hon. Kamal Abubakar , Hon Bala Salihu , Umar Ayuba ( Ajebere ) ,Hon Moses Onuche ,Barr. Paul Attah, Hon Friday Onu ,Hon Adejo Agada and Sunday Atabo.
It could be recalled that the rate of political violence in kogi east is on the high and this calls for concerns as ICDA and its executives could not fold it hands and see the people killed and properties destroyed without efforts to address it as the committe assignment starts in earnest.
