Igala Sons and Daughters in the State have been called to support the administration of Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo for more gains of Democracy.
The Iye Igala Lokoja and environs Hajia Hadiza Akwu Nasiru stated this when she led members of her cabinet on a courtesy visit to the General Manager Nigeria Television Authority NTA Lokoja.
The Iye Igala Lokoja said the need has become necessary saying that Governor Ahmed usman Ododo within the period in office has done credible well for the people .
“I was coronated recently by the Attach of Igala, His Royal Majesty,Alaji Opaluwa Oguche Akpa ,as the Iye Igala Lokoja after the demise of the first Iye ,may her soul rest in peace.Iye Igala meas the Queen Mother of all Igala Sons and Daughters in lokoja and it’s environs, and was equally Turbaned by the Maigari of lokoja ,HRH Alhaji Ibrahim Gambo Kabir maikarfi IV on the 14th of September 2024.”
Chief Hadiza commend Governor Usman Ododo for the prompt payment of salaries to civil servant, pensioners,bursary allowance to indigent students across the state,and WAEC fess amongst others.
She called for peace Unity and togetherness among the Igala s and other tribes for the development of the State.
Chief Hadiza commend the efforts of the NTA in all her activities in the area of Educating, enlightened and promoting peaceful co-existence and called for collaboration between NTA and her traditional tittle Iye Igala Lokoja .
“NTA is a household name a government owned media house that is known all over the world, we appreciate and commend all your activities, programs, enlightenment and entertainment that is why I have come to thank you all for what you have been doing for the society and to intimate the general public about my existence in the State as IYE IGALA.”
Responding the General Manager NTA Lokoja ,Alhaji Yahaya Adams described the visit as apt and called for better collaboration between the two body .
” The General Manager Alhaji Yahaya Adams expressed appreciation for the visit saying that this is the first time Iye Igala Lokoja is visiting the NTA which calls for better collaboration and partnership”.
He explained that NTA as a media house is out to project the activities of the state government and has the mandate of showcasing the good culture which Iye Igala represents.
Alhaji Yahaya Adams said the NTA has been following all the activities of the State government as listed out by the Iye Igala ”
He called on all and Sundary to support the Iye Igala as her position was ordain by God.
