Women Association in the state have been told to fine a common grand for a peaceful co-existance in kogi state
The Only Igala Lokoja, Chief Joseph Akpa gave the advised at the end of year get together of Jam’iyyan Matan Arewa, Northern Women Forum organised by the body in lokoja.
He said women as the custodians of peace and unity in every society,hence the need for them to preach peace unity and love in the society for a better Nation.
He called on Jam’iyyan Matan Arewa not to relent on her efforts as they give back to the Society and pray God to guide and sustain all members and the Association.
Speaking earlier the kogi state cordinator of JMA, Hajia Fatima Yakubu commend members for staying true despite the challenges Confronting the Nation.
The cordinator called on members to portray the good image of the body to the people of the state and called for more membership drive.
Hajia Fatima thanked all members for the leadership role that sustained the Association thus far, assuring that soonest things would change for the better.
The JMA Adviser, Hajia Maryam Lima Thanked Allah for his mercy and favour upon all members, as she called for more unity and love, urging members to be more dedicated going forward for the growth of the Association in the State.
