The Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello’s administration has denied political appointees at the state and Local Government levels of their Novembee salaries due to the inability of most of them to deliver their polling units for the All Progressives Congress APC party in the November governorship election in the state.

At the moment there are allegations that APC as a party is currently engaged in intense lobbying to legitimise the ill conducted Kogi governorship polls
Campaigns of culmy to paint SDP and its candidate ,Muri Ajaka in a bad light sponsored by Kogi APC is ongoing.

As it is for now it seems all the back door strategist are not just working as Nigerians are already looking at the election tribunal to do justice to the monumental rigging of pre- filling results sheet the friday night before the election was conducted.

In another development, reports has it that ,the government of governor Yahaya Bello which screened workers in the state upon assumption of office in 2016 with the attendant lost of lives and properties is at it again as the office of the Head of Kogi civil service has commenced another round of screening as from the 4th of December ,2023 with one live lost during the exercise.

It is now on record that Governor Bello started with screening of workers and is ending with the same excercise.

While former governors of the state has housing estates for workers in the state ,we are yet to see governor Yahaya Bello workers estate despite having labour leaders as parts of his campaign council and one of them the deputy governor elect from the ranks of the teachers in the state.

Throughout Bello’s eight years maladministration, Local Government workers were humiliated with percentage salaries a situation which for a long time to come will continue to mark a dark spot for his misrule in Kogi State.
