The Secretary to the Kogi State Election Tribunal, Mr David Umar Mark is set to sue governor Yahaya Bello on attempted murder on his life
Last week Mr Mark narrowly escaped death in lokoja when people suspected to be political thugs loyal to the All Progressive Congress ( APC) and Governor Yahaya Bello stopped him on his way from the office and Carter away election petition documents in his possession.
Mr .Mike who is a physically challenge person is said to have made up his mind to file a case at the federal high court to demand for a compensation of one billion (1000,0000,000,000) naira from Governor Yahaya Bello.
As at the time of writing this reports some Senior Advocates in Nigeria numbering about ten are ready to defend Mr Mike to put an end to impunity and political rascality being pepatrated by the governor.
Confluence news gathered that , all seems not to be well with governor Bello as many battle’s are lines up for him towards the end of his tenure which is barely about a month and some few days.
It could be recall that a federal high court in Abuja gave a judgement against the governor for the attack on the Social Democratic party Governorship Candidate ( SDP) Alh. Muritala Yakubu Ajaka at Banda on his way to lokoja after he paid a royal visit to the Ohimege Igu of Koto Karfi few months ago .
As at press time government spokespersons are yet to speak on wether the governor is going to appeal the judgement.
There is a proverbs that says ,there shall be an end to every seasons ,so shall the tenure of governor bello come to an end on 27th January ,2024 with series of litigation waiting for him mainly on his conduct while in office.
