The dead horse theory originated from the tribal wisdom of the Dakota’s in Indian and passed from generation to generation. The theory simply and logically State that, when you discover that you are riding a dead horse, the best way is to dismount.
However, Ganduje and APC Campaign team are in the State to advanced strategies to rebrand a dead horse to look real and competitive instead of dismounting.
In reality, they might have realised that they are riding a dead horse but do not want to dismount for reasons of political expediency.
GANDUJE and APC Campaign team are in Kogi State to add fun and drama to KOGI political scene and therefore, should not be taken seriously as the candidate of the party is a product of selfish ambition and not for people agenda.
The dead state of APC in Kogi State is no longer a thing in the dark, as witnessed by the testimonies of people against the outgoing government who has held the people of the State to political hostage,agony of economic decisions and leaving the people with moseun of infrastructural decay. Confusion continue to reign supreme in Kogi APC as prominent members of the party who worked for the victory of the party in the just concluded general elections are dumping the party for the opposition due to political betrayal.
Any politically conscious person would agree that Kogi State APC internal political abrasions have weakened it’s chances of victory come November 11, 2023.
It is pertinent to recall that, while
Senator Abdullahi Adamu, the former APC chairman was given reasons why APC lost the march 18, 2023 governorship contest in Kano State, he noted that the party’s abysmal performance in the election was as a result of selfishness.
The APC governorship candidate, Nasir Yusuf Gawuna woefully lost to Governor Abba Yusuf of the New Nigeria Peoples Party, NNPP, with Ganduje, the then executive Governor of Kano State piloting the affairs of the party in the State..
It is pertinent we remind Ganduje that the selfishness that make APC lost in Kano also play out in Kogi Governorship primaries.
A development that have dug grave for Kogi APC final burial.
Therefore, the visit of Ganduje should not be anything to reckon with, as the APC team knew their mission is to keep the clock ticking untill the umpire announce the winner of the election.
