Kogi Security Trust Fund Partners Mangal Industries to Enhance State Security
The Kogi State Security Trust Fund (KSSTF) is taking significant steps to bolster security in the state through strategic partnerships with key stakeholders.
In a recent development, the Chairman of KSSTF, AVM Umar Omeiza (RTD), led a delegation on a courtesy visit to Mangal Industries, a prominent industrial outfit in Ijumu Local Government Area.

During the visit, AVM Omeiza outlined the fund’s objectives, which include providing critical support to security agencies, vigilante groups, and hunters.

He emphasized the importance of collaboration between the KSSTF and businesses in the state, stating that joint efforts would enhance security and foster a safer environment for economic activities to thrive.
The KSSTF Chairman highlighted some of the fund’s notable initiatives, including the provision of essential equipment such as tyres, logistics, helmets, and motorcycles to aid security operations in rural areas.

He also mentioned the fund’s commitment to supporting the families of fallen heroes, particularly during festive periods like Christmas and Sallah celebrations.

Dr. Umar Mohammed, General Manager Administration and Human Resources at Mangal Industries, expressed gratitude for the visit, noting that security is a top priority for Governor Usman Ododo’s administration.
He assured the KSSTF Chairman that Mangal Industries would consider collaborating with the fund and promised to meet with the management to discuss the proposal further.

The KSSTF’s efforts to engage with businesses and stakeholders in the state demonstrate its commitment to enhancing security and promoting economic development.

By partnering with organizations like Mangal Industries, the fund aims to leverage collective resources and expertise to create a safer and more prosperous Kogi State.
The Director of Administration of the KSSTF, Alhaji Ahmed Abdulkarim, thanked Mangal Industries for receiving the team warmly despite the short notice.


He reiterated the fund’s commitment to collaboration, provided it aligns with the KSSTF’s objectives of promoting peace and security in the state.
