Social Cultural Group has thrown it’s weight behind the candidate of Accord Party (AC), Admiral Usman Jubrin for the November 11th Kogi State Governorship election.

In a press statement issued to Nigeria dailyinfo, the group faulted what they described as ” kangaroo arrangement” by Arch Gabriel Aduku led Committee.

The statement which was signed by its president, Mr. Sule Salifu reads in part, ” The endorsement which took place at Ayingba came as Udama Igala mobilised 5 person’s across the 9 local government areas.

According to him, Udama Igala is a combination of so many socio-cultural Associations which cut across the 9 LGAs in IgalaLand.

The group faulted the kangaroo arrangement organised by Mr Gabriel Adukwu – led committee, saying that Mr Adukwu who was sacked as a minister of the Federal Republic of Nigeria without spending even a year in office, has no public trust to present a consensus candidate for the Igala race.

The statement further revealed that Admiral Jibrin’s endorsement is subject to his wide level of experience, competency, capacity and strength to pilot the leadership of Kogi State.
