Kogi State Security Trust Fund Reaffirms Commitment to Collaborating with Security Agencies

The Executive Chairman of the Kogi State Security Trust Fund (KSSTF), Hon. Ibraheem Ozovehe Ohiare, has reiterated his commitment to fostering a strong partnership with security agencies in the state.

This pledge was made during a courtesy visit to the office of the newly appointed Commandant of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) in Lokoja.

Hon. Ohiare emphasized the importance of collaboration between the KSSTF and security agencies in maintaining law and order in the state.

He assured the new Commandant, E. I. Akinlade, of the KSSTF’s uninterrupted support, just as they did for her predecessor.

As part of their mandate, the KSSTF is responsible for procuring and refurbishing operational vehicles for security agencies in the state.

Hon. Ohiare reaffirmed the KSSTF’s dedication to fulfilling this responsibility, acknowledging the critical role that operational vehicles play in enhancing the effectiveness of security agencies.

The Executive Chairman also expressed his gratitude to the state governor for his consistent support and assistance whenever needed.

This partnership, Hon. Ohiare noted, has been instrumental in facilitating the KSSTF’s efforts to enhance security in the state.

In her remarks, Commandant E. I. Akinlade appreciated the KSSTF’s efforts in maintaining operational vehicles, acknowledging that refurbishing them is a capital-intensive task.

She commended the KSSTF for their unwavering commitment to supporting security agencies in the state.

Commandant Akinlade also pledged to be available to assist the KSSTF whenever necessary, fostering a strong partnership between the NSCDC and the KSSTF.

She thanked Hon. Ohiare and his entourage for their visit and congratulations, expressing her enthusiasm for working together to enhance security in Kogi State.
