Kogi State Executive Committee, SEC, of Nigeria Union of Journalists, NUJ has lifted the suspension of Miss Veronica Okolo of the Graphic Chapel.
The suspension was lifted at the SEC meeting held at the NUJ Press Centre, Lokoja.
The SEC explained that the suspension order was lifted following interventions by veterans and former member of the NUJ, one of which is now the Onu Igala Lokoja.
It expressed optimism that the said member would turn a new leaf in order to maintain the integrity of NUJ.
Veronica Okolo was suspended last year for gross misconduct, contrary to the union’s constitutional provisions.
