The Defence headquarters and the office of the Inspector General of Police have warned politician’s and their cronies to stay clear from organizing illegal protests in the Federal Capital Territory Abuja.
The two most powerful security agencies in the country have stated that the security of the seat of power can never any way bet compromised for politicians to be trade tackling among themselves in a manner that will shatter the peace of the country.
Intelligent reports in the Federal Capital Territory have revealed that some misguided politicians are Planning a protest which could mar the peace of the federal capital territory.
The security agencies have therefore warned that any one cought will regret his or her actions.
Confluence News which monitored events in the federal capital territory can report that the relocation of kogi state governorship election petition tribunal to Abuja has irked some politicians in Kogi and could possibly resort to illegal protests.
As at the time of this report our reporter gathered that the tribunal is set to commence its assignment constitutionally as its only concern with parties who have lawful business with the court and are the only people who will be allowed access to the premises.
It could be recalled that ,the relocation of the tribunal to Abuja was due to several post election crisis were the Secretary of the tribunal was attacked by unknown gun men as reported by the kogi state police command including the attack at the residents of kogi state resident electoral commissioner who narrowly escape death by the whiskers.
Since the conduct of the November 11 election Kogi state has become a night mere as people could no longer go out without fear of attacks from the state sponsored miscreants.
This has called for concerns from well meaning kogites as they count weeks , days and hours of the exist of the incumbent Governor Yahaya Bello’s bullying administration come January 27, 2024.
