Niwa losses Cooperate Affairs Gm

GENERAL Manager, Corporate Affairs unit of the National Inland Waterways Authority (NIWA), Alhaji Jibril Dardau died in the early hours of Friday at the age of 54.
Dardau died in the in the holy month Ramadan on Friday 26th Ramadan 1445, equivalent to 5th April 2024 after leading early morning Subhi Prayers in his mosque.
He was said to have slumped on return to his parlour shortly after the prayer and was immediately rushed to the Federal Teaching Hospital, Lokoja where he eventually died.
According to a family source, Dardau who had been managing High Blood Pressure (HBP) for sometimes now slumped in his sitting-room on return from the Mosque.
Dardau a graduate of Mass Communications from Bayero University, Kano, took over the Cooperate Affairs Unit of NIWA shortly after the former occupant, Mr Tayo Fadile retired from service. (Ends)
