Ododo Administration Commitment to Security: KSSTF Distributes Vehicles to Security Agencies”
Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo has vowed to eradicate all criminal activities in Kogi State.
Represented by the Director-General of the Government House, Alhaji Shaibu Orisa, the Governor made this promise during the distribution of operational vehicles by the Kogi State Security Trust Fund to security agencies at the Government House in Lokoja.
Gov. Ododo commended the KSSTF and security agencies for their swift response in rescuing the kidnapped students of CUSTEC, noting that the operation was 99% successful.
Earlier, the Chairman of the Kogi State Security Trust Fund, Hon. Abdulraheem Ozovehe, expressed gratitude to the Governor for his support in security matters.
He emphasized that the KSSTF’s role is to provide logistics for security agencies in the state.
Nine operational vehicles were refurbished and distributed to various security agencies, including the Nigeria Police, Nigeria Correctional Centers, and vigilante groups.
The Kogi State Head of Service, Pastor Elijah Ebenemi, praised the KSSTF’s efforts and urged security agencies to collaborate with the public to gather more information to combat criminals.
On behalf of the beneficiaries, Divisional Police Officer George Clement from Ogori Mangogo thanked the Kogi State government and KSSTF for the gesture, promising that security agencies would utilize the vehicles to protect lives and properties.”
