Ohiare Calls for Collective Efforts to Rid Kogi of Criminal Activities.
Chairman of the Kogi State Security Trust Fund, Hon. Abdulraheem Ozovehe Ohiare, urged stakeholders to unite in the fight against crime in the state during a recent security meeting.
The meeting was attended by the Transition Chairman of Lokoja Local Government Area, representatives of okada riders, the Ibo community, vigilante groups, and the National Union of Road Transport Workers, held in his office.
Speaking to journalists after the meeting, Hon. Ohiare emphasized the need for collective efforts to rid Kogi of criminal activities.
He assured that the state government is committed to ensuring the safety of the state.
The Transition Committee Chairman of Lokoja Local Government Area, comrade Abdullahi Adamu, pledged his support and collaboration with KSSTF and security agencies to combat crime.
He also appealed to the public to provide accurate and timely information to security agencies to aid their efforts.
