POLITICS OF CRUELTY AND BITTERNESS IN KOGI STATE*.

Every modern democratic event comes with change, ideology, strategy and tactics towards winning an election.

In modern politics, it is dehumanizing and barbaric to engage in any act that can cause a perceived electorate a physical injury, assault or intimidation.

You are not a contestant if you are not willing to honorably accept a defeat in politics.

People make their choices and elect a leader for themselves through a credible electorial means, not imposing of individuals on electorates or undermining people’s will just for self interest.

It’s quite unfortunate that, we contributed directly or indirectly in creating the monster that has become a dangerous political vampire in our dear State.

At this point, we must change the narrative by collectively subduing the power of that monster we created some years ago.

Electorates are now living and walking in constant fear in Kogi State.

Human blood is been shed just on account of political success. Intimidation and abuse of power have become tools in the hands of these vampires…

Must we kill, oppress or intimidate electorates just because we seek political power? Where have we kept our human conscience and morality? Who has manipulated our minds against ourselves? Don’t forget, power is transient.

Certainly, natural law of justice will prevail on anyone who is committed to taking the life of his or her fellow human beings just to get to power or remain in power.

*God Almighty giveth and taketh power.*

We call on all sons and daughters of Igala extraction, also, relevant stakeholders to caution and draw the attention of those orchestrating violence in Kogi East to stop with immediate alacrity in order not to be visited by their own doom.

Salvaging Kogi State from the shackles of mis-governance has become a clarion call and collective movement we all must embrace regardless of our political party affiliation.

In any given society, the elites are considered accomplices when they remain silent in dangerous circumstances.

Conclusively, building a better Kogi is a debt we all owe the next generation and posterity.

Long Live Kogi State
Long Live The Federal Republic of Nigeria.

Thank you and God bless you.
