Hon. Samari Abdulmalik Teina officially assumed the position of Director General at the Bureau of Lands and Urban Development Board today 8 of January.
Resuming at the office, the entire staffs of bureau welcomed their new leader with with the promise to cooperate with their new DG to move the bureau to a greater heights.
Hon. Samari Abdulmalik Teina expressed his gratitude for the warm reception and outlined his vision for the Bureau.
According to him, a house divided against it’s self would never stand hence the need for cooperation and diligent among the staff.
He called for cooperation among the staff, emphasizing that it is crucial for fostering a healthy working environment and achieving positive growth.
Hon Teina pledged to elevate the Bureau to a standard befitting its importance.
He specifically promised to enhance the master plan of Kogi state to attract investors, showcasing his commitment to driving economic development in the region.
He declared that his tenure would mark the end of land racketeering, with stringent measures in place to punish offenders.
To strengthen enforcement, he vowed to build and fortify a dedicated team, addressing existing loopholes in the land business.
Emphasizing a commitment to upholding law and order, the new Director General made it clear that offenders would face consequences, and his tenure would not tolerate any form of misconduct.
He urged every staff member to view this opportunity as a new beginning, emphasizing the importance of collaboration and a fresh start for everyone involved.
In a bid to maintain transparency, Hon. Samari Abdulmalik Teina promised to implement an open-door policy, encouraging communication and accessibility within the Bureau.
Following the meeting, he took the initiative to visit all departments, engaging with staff members across various roles, including IT students.
