Chairman Kogi State Security Trust Fund has appealed to security agencies in the State to ensure the safety of lives and properties within their domain.
Hon Ohiare made the submission while meeting with the Zonal Security Advisers, Caretaker Chairmen, Kogi State Vigilante Service Commanders And Professional Hunters Across Kogi Central recently.
The meeting which took place at the Boardroom of the Kogi State Security Trust Fund was meant to encourage the security agencies in attendance not to treat matters of security with levity but seriousness as the safety of lives and properties of Kogians in their domain should be their priority.
During the closed door interface, strategic matters towards ensuring a better and safer Kogi Central were discussed and to that effect, the assurances of ensuring the security of lives and property within their domain, as well as working in synergy with the Agency to achieve such positive results were given by the Security Stakeholders.
Speaking to the press, Hon Ohiare revealed that in order to strengthen the security architecture of the State, Kogi State government through the office of Kogi State Security Trust Fund will continue to maintain a solid collaboration with Security Agencies at the Local Government level with a view to making Kogi unsafe for outlaws as well as criminal elements.
He further said KSSTF would meet with Zonal Security Advisers, Caretaker Chairmen, Kogi State Vigilante Service Commanders and Professional hunters from Kogi East and Kogi West soon with the hope of strengthening the Security architecture of the entire Confluence State.
He also thanked all the security agencies in attendance for their prompt response and promised to be available to assist them in anyway possible whenever the need arises.
