Securing Lives and Properties is My Priority__Hon.Ohiare

Executive Chairman of the Kogi State Security Trust Fund, Hon. Abdulraheem Ozovehe Ohiare, paid a visit to the Kogi State Commissioner of Police, CP Bethrand Onuoha, at the state headquarters in Lokoja.

During the visit, Hon. Ohiare commended the Commissioner of Police for protecting lives and properties of Kogians and his efforts in keeping the state safe.

He appealed to stakeholders, private individuals, and important members of the public to extend a helping hand in order to keep the state safe.

He also said that effective policing and security needs a lot of money, and that the federal government cannot shoulder the responsibility alone hence the assistance needed from outside.

According to him, the issue of security is a collective efforts as he urged the public to be security conscious and beware of their environment and the people around them.

In response, the Commissioner of Police thanked Hon. Ohiare for his visit and expressed his gratitude for the Trust Fund’s support.

He promised to render assistance and open his door anytime he is contacted.

While highlighting some of the challenges facing his command, he said lack of communication and operational equipment can make it difficult for the police to do their jobs effectively.

The Cp appealed to the Chairman to provide effective communication gadgets to his command.

The visit ended on a positive note, with both parties reaffirming their commitment to working together to keep Kogi State safe and secure.
