It was a massive turnout yesterday as the people of Ibaji Local Government of Kogi East trooped out to welcome The Social Democratic Party gubernatorial candidate Hon. Murtala Yakubu Ajaka.
The situation of Ibaji as recorded in the video is worst than what you can see in the video because the SDP candidate could only have access to the major towns in Ibaji as water has always submerged the larger parts of the local government that is an oil producing area and food basket of the state because no government presence.
Since Kogi state has officially been recognized as an oil producing state and getting oil derivation funds from the Federal Government, not even the state governor has visited here or commissioned a single project here.
The love for Hon. Ajaka is borne out of his support for the Ibaji people during the intense flood that ravaged these communities and farm land where Ajaka donated millions from his pocket even while he had not shown interest to contest for governorship.
The Ibaji people of Kogi state pledged their support and commitment to his project for he has done a lot for them without occupying any elective positions thus; he will do more when elected.
