This is Jemilu Sule, son of Jubrin Sule from Ankpa Kogi State, who schooled at Lafia Polytechnic Nasarawa State.

On Sunday, 14/01/2024, he came to the house of Mrs Esther Amali at about 4:30 pm and stabbed Mercy Iveren Wuese in the kitchen(who is Mrs. Amali’s help)while she was trying to serve Mrs. Esther Amali food.

The woman heard Mercy screaming, so she rushed out of her room to find Mercy in the pool of her blood.

Jemilu, noticing that the woman saw him with the data, decided to silence her too by stabbing the woman four times, 2 to her chest region, 1 to her lower abdomen, and 1 to her palm, and he scaled the fence out of the house.

Mrs Esther, however, did not die immediately as she was screaming and running outside while calling the guy’s name and describing him to neighbors who rushed to know what was happening.

She was also able to tell her son while on their way to the hospital who killed Mercy and stabbed her before she passed on

Her son said my mum described him vividly, saying, “That gala boy with the swollen leg is killing Mercy and her baby.”

Before this time, on the 9th of January, the said killer visited the house to report Mercy to Mrs Amali that Mercy had been insulting him.

The woman pleaded with him and even gave him a bottle of coke to drink, which he drank and said to her, “You do dey bribe me abi, I’ll be back”?

Mrs Amali laughed and begged him, thinking that was the end until he returned on the 14th to perpetuate this act.

His family fled for two days until the community asked the Igala people in the area to provide for the father or there would be unrest.

The father finally showed up and was locked up on Saturday at D-division Police Station Ankpa Ward.

Because information reached out that he was aiding his son with money to run out of town, he denied that he only went to buy a goat with a friend.

The case was transferred to state CID on the 22nd of 2024; he was detained and charged to court for bail on the 25th of January.

His bail application was verbal, so the judge asked his counsel to write it and adjourned it to 14th February 2024. He is to be remanded in custody of the NCS till further hearing, according to the late woman’s son.

Everyone should be on the watchout; if seen, report to the nearest Security agency; thanks.
